GSD was contracted to help design a series of DVDs for GE Healthcare. Some DVDs were used to help nurses earn continuing medical education credits. Others were used to promote new technologies developed by GE.
Released to a wide audience, care was taken to make sure that each product release was compatible with the maximum number of platforms. Also, with both sales teams and medical professionals utilizing the same discs we designed multiple interaction modes to suit both groups.
GSD employed sophisticated hybrid programming techniques that blended easy to use on-screen DVD-like navigation with more involved Flash navigation and functionality when the disk was viewed on a PC.
