3d visualization, video and DVD for the Aqua Caliente Cultural Museum

The GSD Group created a video to assist fundraising for Jones and Jones' new Aqua Caliente Cultural Museum in Palm Springs. The project blended 3d visualizations with archival photos and audio from the museum's collection. After being displayed on a massive screen at the outdoor fundraising event, the video was distributed to the audience on DVD.

GSD worked with the architects at Jones and Jones to create the 3d renderings used in the DVD. Starting from CAD drawings, hand sketches and material samples we developed photorealistic and illustrative images that helped communicate the design intents of the building.

All of the renderings used in this project were created using Softimage|XSI.
